Brothers - Pat’s interest in geology stemmed from fossil hunting in the Kimmeridge Clay cliffs at Chapmans Pool and the exposed Belemnite Stone Beds at Seatown. Andrew, interested in history followed in our grandfather’s footsteps. Rex Corbett came to Purbeck in 1904 briefly taught at Durnford before he founded the Old Malthouse school in 1906.
