close ties to the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset.

I like hunting for specific subjects and the patience that's required collecting brief moments captured over the course of a day or weeks, months and years compiling photographic records.

Before becoming a teenager I collected and bred butterflies and moths. Like dragonflies and so many other bugs they are fascinating creatures. Each species with its own individual story. Such variety and shapes, form and colours which never cease to amaze. Revisiting this subject and getting out of London into the countryside is refreshing but the whole experience has been over-shadowed by the fact that there are generally far less butterflies than there were fifty years ago which sadly is not down to my imagination.
